Design Document Package


This essential package includes comprehensive design documents that are perfect for both local remodeling and renovation projects. Whether you want to upgrade your kitchen, bathroom, or living room or any other spaces, these documents will provide you with all the conceptual information you need. You can use them to implement the design with your general contractor or subcontractor. The package includes:

Design Concept
: Overall style direction, and color palettes.
Floor Plan: Detailed layout for furniture, fixtures, and spatial flow.
Elevations: Drawings that illustrate vertical dimensions and detailed design elements.
Renders: Photo renderings of new space for better visualization
Shopping List: Detailed list of recommended furniture, fixtures, and finishes, including Items specifications and links to where you can be purchased.

    • Pre-design
      Initial Consultation
      Meet with you on phone call or Google meet to discuss your project, budget, and timeline.

      Design Questionnaire

      Conduct a comprehensive design questionnaire to understand better of your goals, preferences, lifestyle, and any specific requirements for the space.

      Site Assessment

      Visit the project site to analyze the existing conditions, take measurements, and gather necessary information (e.g., lighting, architectural features).

      Research and Inspiration

      Gather inspiration images and create an initial vision board based on the client's preferences and the site assessment.


    • Design Concept
      Development of Concept Options
      Create 2-3 preliminary design concepts that include mood boards, color palettes, and style direction tailored to the your vision.

      Concept Presentation

      Schedule a meeting to present the design concepts. Discuss each option's features, benefits, and how they meet your goals.

      Concept Client Feedback

      Gather feedback and preferences from you. Discuss any elements you like or dislike, and clarify any questions you may have.



    • Design Development
      Finalizing Selected Concept
      Based on your feedback, refine the chosen design concept into a more detailed plan.

      Create Final Plans Elevations and Details
      Develop detailed floor plans that outline furniture layouts, spatial flow, and functionality.

      Selection of Materials
      Curate and present options for furniture, fixtures, finishes, tiles, and other materials. Gather samples for you to review.

      Budget Review
      Provide an estimated budget based on the selected items and finalize it with the client’s approval.



    • Final Approval
      Presentation of Final Selections
      Present the finalized selections, including all plans, elevations, and a comprehensive shopping list, to you.

      Client Review and Revisions
      Allow you to review the selections. If they request revisions, make the necessary adjustments and resubmit for approval.

      Final Submission
      If no revisions are needed, submit the final design documents, including all approved plans, elevations, and detailed shopping lists.

      Project Handoff
      Discuss next steps for implementation, whether you will work with a contractor or if KD will provide project management services.

      *If you wish to manage the project independently, KD will schedule a one-time coordinating session to guide the client's general contractor through the plans and address any questions they may have regarding the project.

  • Small Room | $3,000
    Up to 150 sq. ft (e.g., bathroom, small bedroom) 

    Medium Room | $4,500
    150 - 300 sq. ft (e.g., living room, average-sized bedroom)

    Large Room | $6,000
    300+ sq. ft (e.g., open concept living areas, master bedrooms)

  • After the work is completed, KD will provide a one-time coordinating session to guide the client's general contractor through the plans and address any questions they may have regarding the plan.

    The package includes two revisions
    For the design concept
    One revision
    For final product selections.


    50% deposit required, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
    After signing the contract and receiving the deposit, the design phase will begin. The final payment will be charged upon design completion.

    Additional Hours
    Any additional hours beyond the agreed-upon scope will be billed at KD hourly rate upon job completion.

Quick Room Refresh Package


In this service, you will receive a quick consultation to refresh a room’s layout, color scheme, or overall aesthetic. This may involve rearranging furniture, suggesting new furniture and decor, or implementing simple updates to enhance the space.
The package includes:

Design Concept
: Overall style direction, and color palettes.
Floor Plan: Design Plan with Furniture layout.
Elevations: Drawings that illustrate vertical dimensions for any architecture basic updates recommended (e.g. new paints, wallpaper) if any.
Shopping List: Detailed list of recommended furniture or decor, fixture and finishes including Items specifications and links to where you can be purchased.
Additional Assistance: If you need help with shopping or assistance with installation and styling.

    • Initial Consultation

      Client Meeting
      Meet with you to discuss your goals, budget, and preferences for the room refresh. Gather insights on your lifestyle, favorite colors, and any specific items you wish to keep or replace.

      Space AssessmentEvaluate the existing room layout, lighting, and overall style. Take measurements and photographs to assist in the design process.

    • Concept Development

      Room Layout Ideas

      Consider rearranging existing furniture for improved flow and functionality or suggest new layouts that maximize space, and environment improve.

      Color Scheme

      Propose a fresh color palette that reflects the client's preferences and enhances the room's mood. 

      Overall Aesthetics

      Suggest styles that align with the client’s taste (e.g., modern, farmhouse, bohemian).



      Furniture and Decor Options

      New Furniture

      Propose options for new furniture pieces that fit the refreshed layout and style.

      Mix of New and Existing Furniture

      Suggest keeping some existing pieces that have sentimental value or fit the new design and recommend ways to update existing furniture if any.


    • Final Presentation

      Design Board
      Create the design board that visually represents the proposed layout, color schemes, and furniture selections. Include samples of materials and fabric swatches.

      Client Review
      Present the design board to you, and take note from your feed back   

      Adjustments
      Make necessary adjustments to the plan if any.



    • Execution and Installation

      Shopping Assistance
      Offer to assist you with shopping for new items or provide a shopping list of recommended products.

      Styling
      Help arrange and style the room once new items are delivered, ensuring everything fits cohesively within the refreshed design.

This service caters to remote clients, providing virtual consultations via video calls. You can share your spaces, and KD can offer design advice, layout suggestions, and product recommendations in real time The package includes:

Furniture Board: To help you visualize the Selections Furniture.
